Varenna: Ferry to Menaggio - Bellagio
We spent the day exploring the nearby villages on Lake Como of Menaggio and Bellagio, all a 15 minute ferry ride across the lake from each other. First stop Menaggio, where we did a walk through and found nothing particularly interesting so we moved on.
Taking the ferry then to Bellagio, by far the most well known town on the lake. There we had lunch, explored, shopped, and visited a recommended wine bar before heading back to our favorite village and “home” for this week, Varenna.
Arriving back into Varenna via ferry, it’s a beautiful view from the water.
