Day 24: Leon - Villar de Mazarife, 21.8 km.

A day off is an amazing thing. After our rest and rejuvenation day in Leon, The Camino was a welcome friend. Walking today was easy and fun and familiar. Covering almost 22 km and arriving in town before 2pm felt easier than ever. My feet were as happy as they've been since reclining over movies on my overseas flight to get to Europe. Keeping my fingers crossed it's a new dawn and new day on my Camino.

Bryans feet look as perfect and pure as they did before he landed. His knees are better than ever, his shoulders doing well...over a week in and he is rocking it. We are staying in an alburgue tonight, and this will be Bryan's first experience of bunk beds. Guess who gets the top bunk?
