Day 21: Bercianos Del Real Camino - Mansilla de las Mulas, 26.7 km.
A day of walking in the elements. Cold. Wind. Rain. Bryan asked, if given the choice, which element would we remove from the equation today. I chose the wind. Marina chose the rain. Bryan chose the cold. The Camino offered us no choice nor cared about our preferences. All day was spent pushing through a cold, strong wind blowing up to 22 mph, temps starting at 8C/47F with a high of 14C/57F, and mostly light rains fell on and off all day.
With only 2 villages along the entire route today to have a respite, 1 at 7km and the next at 20km, it was a long, hard push between stops. On a day like today, everyone walks their own Camino.
Not many pictures to share, it all pretty much looked the same. The picture of a forever white path next to a quiet country road...that's pretty much it.
