Day 21: Hahei, the Coromandel Peninsula
Leaving Auckland, I am off to explore all the North Island of New Zealand has to offer. Back with Stray Travel, I jumped on yet another backpacker’s bus early morning and headed to Hahei, a teeny tiny beach village on the Coromandel Peninsula on the east coast of NZ. We are staying 2 nights right on Hahei Beach which is beautiful, pristine, and practically desolate. So great to have this pink sand beach almost completely to myself more often then not.
