Day 17: Auckland

The flight from Wellington to Auckland is only just about an hour. Wellington Airport is small, and easy to navigate, and has fun art as well as giving a nod to the Lord of the Rings. Auckland is NZ’s largest city with a population of 1.4 million which accounts for 33.4% of the country's population. I’ve been in nature on the South Island for long enough that it feels crowded here. I have a view of the Sky Tower from my room so had to go check it out and see Auckland in all her glory from on high.
