Day 5: Westport - Frans Josef
Waking to a glorious day, the adventure continues with a drive south stopping at Cape Foul Wind to see the seal colony at Tauranga Bay and another stop in Punakaiki to walk out and see the “Pancake Rocks.” The drive along the Great Coast Road and has been rated the top ten coastal roads in the world, according to Lonely Planet. We arrived early evening in Frans Josef and I am staying in a treehouse at the Rainforest Retreat for 2 nights. https://rainforest.nz/
