Lake Balaton: KoCZoR Pincészet (Winery)
Another great walking adventure up the hill from my airbnb in Balatonfüred to yet another awesome winery. The history of this family run winery dates back more than 200 years. Now run by father and daughter, the love of grapes and wine are a family legacy. The Koczor family have been operating vines on these picturesque hillsides of Balatonfüred since 1815. They currently farm 25 hectares of vineyards and produce 10-12 types of premium wines a year.
The wine was yummy!! The atmosphere was peaceful and picturesque.
As I am sitting sipping wine and enjoying their lovely terrace and beautiful views, they are busily setting up for a wedding photo shoot followed by the wedding itself. The bride just walked in...with her dog. The entire wedding party was 5 people…how lovely!
